Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead

Our STEAM courses provide students with the creativity, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and collaboration experience they will need to succeed in any career.

Elementary students become confident with coding and technology while they learn to code robots to complete simple tasks, and understand basic principles of engineering by competing to build the strongest bridges and tallest towers.

Middle and high school students learn robotics by coding Baxter, our life-sized robot, and take advantage of the STEAM curriculum where art becomes part of science, technology, engineering, and math in graphic design and computer science.

The STEM and art teachers organize STEAM field trips together so that students learn the science behind art and the art behind science while touring the High Museum.

Technology in the Classroom

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) are woven into the curriculum of every grade level and, therefore, every student uses the state-of-the-art STEM lab which opened in 2017.

All students are taught to understand a problem, create a solution, then test and perfect it. Teachers use iPads and Apple TV to give interactive lectures. Students use them to deliver presentations and take Accelerated Reader exams.
