Welcome to Our Family

The family atmosphere at Harvester is truly unique. We believe learning is enhanced when supported by a strong, loving community. Thus, all teaching is done carefully and creatively in order to inspire each child to participate confidently in the learning process.

One of our goals at HCA is to facilitate continual improvement of our educational experience, including academic instruction, technology, program offerings, spiritual growth, and facilities. We want to model for our students the importance of growing and working toward excellence in all that we do.

Harvester Christian Academy is an independent Christian school dedicated to excellence in college-preparatory education. Our academic program successfully educates students with the goal of "training minds to lead and hearts to serve so that each one graduates ready to pursue college or a career. Our desire is for our students to grasp the understanding that the most important part of life is using our time and talents to give glory to God.

Founded in 1987 and beginning with kindergarten through 3rd grade sharing a multipurpose space, Harvester experienced rapid growth that led to the expansion of facilities to include individual classrooms in 1991. The gymnasium was built in 1995, and a joint middle school/high school building was added in 1996. In 2017, a new classroom building allowed for further growth of the HCA student body and introduced updated facilities such as a state-of-the-art STEM lab, computer lab, physical and life sciences labs, media center, and art studio.

Through each of these seasons of change and currently, Harvester continues to be known for its Christ-centered education, academic rigor, small class sizes, and family atmosphere. Today, HCA has served international students from Italy, Japan, Nigeria, Thailand, Germany, Vietnam, China, and South Korea, as well as local students representing Douglas, Paulding, Carroll, Fulton, and Cobb counties. As we plan for future expansion, HCA remains steadfast to its mission and five guiding pillars to ensure we continue to maintain the characteristics that make us successful.

Using these five pillars as a guide, Harvester provides a complete educational experience to prepare students for life beyond the classroom.

SCHOLARSHIP is achieved through a college-preparatory program of study taught with a Biblical worldview by caring and skilled educators.
LEADERSHIP qualities are instilled through our Senior Role Models program, praise band, independent study opportunities, mission trips, volunteer projects, and service clubs.
WORSHIP is at the heart of all we do. With daily Bible lessons, Christian faculty and staff, weekly chapel, praise band, and opportunities to serve, students learn that everything is in some way an act of worship to God.
SPORTSMANSHIP is learned by participating in athletic and academic competitions, where students have the chance to consistently show love and respect like Jesus did, win or lose.
FELLOWSHIP opportunities allow students to use their God-given talents to benefit the School and the community as they grow to become servant leaders.
