Training minds to lead and hearts to serve

Serving Local and Global Families

HCA combines a safe, nurturing environment with quality academic instruction and opportunities to participate in activities students love...all with the goal of teaching ways they can positively engage and impact culture.

At Harvester, we believe education is about preparing students for life beyond the classroom. We do this by maintaining high standards at every level of learning on the path to graduation, and integrating Biblical principles that will guide students when they transition to life-long learning as responsible citizens.

Parent Perspectives

I toured Harvester Christian Academy this morning. I can't even put into words how welcoming the visit was. I felt soooo respected. Not sure if it was just this school or all private schools...Everyone spoke...I kept hearing "Welcome to the family." Even the students spoke. Everyone was warm and welcoming. I'd be a fool to go anywhere else. Definitely an upgrade coming from public schooling.
We love Harvester Christian Academy. We have been blessed to have such an amazing school to send our girls to. It's not everywhere where you can get [an] outstanding Christian education with an environment that is like a family.
HCA is full of teachers and administrators who truly care about students. I've heard so many stories from families here about the staff who have gone above and beyond for their children. The academics, athletics, and clubs rival those of much larger schools. We are blessed to be here!

HCA in our Community

baby bottle banks for

The HCA Senior Beta Club is partnering with our local Pregnancy Resource Center in raising money to cover the cost of ultrasounds for expectant mothers. Funds from donors and from events like these allow PRC Medical to offer ultrasounds (normally $170 per person) and other potentially life-saving services free of charge. HCA classes will collect funds until Friday, April 23.

On Wednesday, April 7, we celebrated the National Honor Society's 100th anniversary year with the induction of HCA's newest chapter members.

Rick Johnson, Head of School

With 35+ years of educational and administrative experience, Mr. Johnson became the Head of School at HCA in August of 2019 with the start of the 2019-20 school year. His servant leadership, organizational vision, practical guidance, and love for the Harvester Family has been both positive and refreshing.

It is my great honor and pleasure to welcome you to Harvester Christian Academy online. I look forward to seeing you on our campus at some point as well!

My hope is that your visit here will give you a glimpse of the unique family atmosphere we have the opportunity to experience together at HCA every day. Whether you're a prospective parent or student getting to know who we are, or someone who is already part of our HCA is our desire that each of you will find the Hawk Nation to be welcoming, inclusive, conscientious, and generous in our approach to people and to education.

We also want to model integrity and excellence in a way that inspires students and teaches them that their God-given abilities are best invested in ways that show His love to everyone they meet. Colossians 3:23 says, "Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord Himself and not merely for others."

Let's go, Hawks!
