Welcome to Harvester Christian Academy’s website. Your interest shows your recognition that a challenging, Bible-based education is one of the greatest gifts you can give your child. We understand that selecting the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent. At Harvester Christian Academy, we see our role as partnering with you as you train your child according to God’s word.
Harvester Christian Academy was founded in 1986 when Harvester Presbyterian Church (now Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church) and her families united to begin a school which would bring glory to God, assist believers in rearing their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Eph. 6:4), and prepare students for a life of servant leadership. From the beginning, our school has been a covenant Christian school. When the home, the church, and the school join in partnership the student has the best support for a solid, biblical education. Ecclesiastes 4:12 tells us, “A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” Together, we are dependent on God’s providence as we work together to defend our children against the influences of a ungodly culture which seeks to capture their minds and keep them from realizing their full potential in building the Kingdom of God.
It is our mission to train minds to lead and hearts to serve. Harvester Christian Academy offers high quality, college preparatory curriculum taught by dedicated, loving, qualified teachers. Our goal is that each of our students will identify his spiritual gifts and have many opportunities to practice them. We strive to see our graduates select and apply to the very best colleges for further study where they will be accepted and matriculate with scholarships. While attending Harvester Christian Academy, your student will have many opportunities to practice servant leadership through academic, athletic, and artistic performances and service learning projects.
