Free money programs are simple ways HCA families and the community can support HCA.

PUBLIX
Publix offers a rebate for purchases for our school. A keychain card is required and available at our school. Each time you shop at Publix and have your card scanned, Publix will contribute a percentage of your eligible purchase to HCA. (This is not a credit card program).

KROGER
Kroger has discontinued their traditional program of providing rebates to schools. Total earnings for the 2008 - 2009 school year were $2664.34. The new program will offer a $2,500 grand prize to one school in each of Kroger's districts that submits the best creative project demonstrating how we are active in academics, athletics, and the community. Please submit any photos or newsworthy items for this project to cdarden@harvesteracademy.com. A blog will be created documenting all of our activites.

TARGET
We've discovered a terrific way to raise funds for our school. It's super-easy, and all you have to do is use your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. We will receive a percentage of the amount of each purchase in the form of a cash donation from Target through the Take Charge of Education® program. It's easy. Just visit target.com/tcoe, or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school. So if you're going to Target anyway, please consider using your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. Big thanks to those who are already doing their part to make a great school even better.

OFFICE DEPOT - 5% BACK TO SCHOOL PROGRAM
When you shop at Office Depot for your school supplies, be sure to tell them Harvester Christian Academy's school code (70025502). Office Depot will total the qualifying purchases on a quarterly basis and award our school 5% of the qualifying purchases in merchandise credit which can be used for FREE supplies!

RECYCLE 
Helping HCA and the planet --- Go Green!

Bring your old cell phones and ink cartridges to HCA to be recycled. HCA earns points that can be used to purchase classroom materials, or the points can be converted to a cash value. See below for real-time progress and continue to recycle at HCA!

GOODSEARCH

GoodSearch is an internet search engine powered by Yahoo! Visit the GoodSearch website. Choose Harvester Christian Academy as your charity and then every time you search the internet on GoodSearch a penny is donated to HCA. Please set your home and office computers homepages to GoodSearch for HCA easy money.

Make GoodSearch your homepage and every time you start your web browser GoodSearch will automatically load and be the first site you see. Plus, no matter where you are on the web, you can always click your browser's home button and return to GoodSearch instantly.

Microsoft Internet Explorer users:

Select Tools | Internet Options.

  1. Select the General tab.
  2. In the Address textbox, type http://www.goodsearch.com.
  3. Click OK.

Netscape Navigator users:

  1. Select Edit | Preferences.
  2. Select the Navigator category on the left side.
  3. In the Location textbox, type http://www.goodsearch.com.
  4. Click OK.

Firefox users:

  1. Open the Firefox options panel.
    (Windows) At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Tools menu, and select Options....
    (Mac) On the menu bar, click on the Firefox menu, and select Preferences....
    (Linux) At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Edit menu, and select Preferences....
  2. If it isn't already selected, click the Main icon. The Main options panel is displayed.
  3. In the Startup box, highlight the text in the Home Page
  4. Replace the text with the GoodSearch URL - http://www.GoodSearch.com/
  5. Click OK.

Safari users:

  1. Open a Safari browser window.
  2. In the toolbar at the top of the window, click Safari > Preferences.
  3. In the Preferences window, click the General tab.
  4. In the "Home page" field, type http://www.goodSearch.com
  5. Click the red Close button.

Google Chrome users:

  1. Go to the upper right hand corner of the screen and click on the Tools Icon.
  2. Select Options.
  3. Under the basics tab and under the Home Page section, choose "Open this page"
  4. Add http://www.GoodSearch.com to the URL box and click close.

That's it! Now GoodSearch will be your browser's homepage.
